New to blogging but I feel it'll help me take the necessary steps to help me do what I want to do.....music.
I've been writing lyrics for almost 7 years. My friend Toni is the one who helped get me started. I'll never forget it. So I guess you could say I'm really thankful for her.
I think that there are perfect lyrics for every situation we go through in life. No matter if you're feeling down or you just got out of a bad relationship (Taylor Swift is the best remedy for that), you go through whatever cards life dealt you. Music is there.
The best advice I've received about music was from Linda Perry on Twitter:
"Melody is what your heart is humming, just let it hum a little louder."
But for the life of me I cannot seem to come up with anything. So here I am. Hoping to find some answers or hoping someone will find me.
