- Twitter: (I'm on ALL of the time. If you don't like people who tweet a lot then DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT follow me...because that is exactly what I do. You've been forewarned. Oh and I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT do "followbacks" unless you don't annoy me by spamming my mentions.)
- Facebook (I RARELY get on. Well mostly when I wanna brag about tweeting a celebrity, or birthdays. Other than that I'm NEVER on there.)
- MySpace (I NEVER get on, but I still weirdly remember my password. I'm not gonna even lie, the last time I updated my status was, October 21st, 2010, when Britney Spears followed me on twitter. Check my followers if you don't believe me the Twitter link is right there. Add me if you wish I don't care.)
I do have SoundCloud, Spotify, Draw Something, and celebrity website accounts. Ask if you want those user names, but it's almost a guarantee that my username is: brittanyselcer.
Here's some more things I'll tell you about myself...mostly about my music likes.
I like meeting new people, but I'm rather shy at first. Once you get to know me I'm kind of a "Chatty Kathy". Music is my favorite subject. In school, it was English, US History (Holocaust and World War II fascinate me for some reason) and science (I love watching stuff blow up, yeah baby!)
I like making album art for songs that I get, that have no album covers. I use them on my iPod. I'll post a video with those in another blog. I'll probably also use them as a background at some point.
One time, I made some Britney Spears remixes with no sound on my computer, totally not lying. Maybe I'll upload them on SoundCloud and post them here.
Music wise I'm a HUGE FAN of most of the people from the LATE 1990's burst, Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Timbaland, Keri Hilson, T.I. (Paper Trail & No Mercy albums), Eminem, Nickelback and many many many more. I do like all types of music EXCEPT "Scream-o" or "death metal"... the music where you can't tell what they're singing, although I respect that those artists like to express themselves that way.
I'll tell you the key to finding new music...in iTunes.
1. Go to one of your favorite albums.
2. Look at the "People Also Bought" section.
3. STOP paying attention to the artists' name and look at the album covers.
4. If 1 of those covers looks interesting to you, click it.
5. Read the song titles, click and listen to the one that sounds the most interesting to you.
6. Purchase, download and enjoy! :)
Not gonna even lie, but I got someone to listen to Kevin Federline because he had a good workout song. And they had the same reaction you are having right now, "Is she smoking something?" look. But take a listen to "Lose Control" before you judge. Then tell me I'm wrong. (I freestyle dance that song when the mood hits me.)
If I was an ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC singer....like Christina Aguilera (WOMAN got some pipes), I'd work with Timbaland, Justin Timberlake, Danja, Linda Perry & The Neptunes, but I'm not so don't worry about that.
In my next blog, I'm gonna post my idea for a Britney Spears album that I've had for months, but I'm gonna share it now since it's more developed than when I first came up with it. (Man that's gonna be a butt load of song samples.)
Until next time...
